Our 21st Anniversary was made extra special with the presentation of a new resident bus.
Father John Horgan is joined by Administrator, Dale Clements and Columbus Residence's Board of Directors for a celebratory moment following the blessing of the new bus.
Celebrating 21 Years of Care!
The Columbus Residence community gathered together on October 26th. to celebrate our 21st year of serving seniors.
Residents, their family and friends, staff, volunteers and our Board of Directors all gathered together for a special anniversary celebration and prayer service. Special guest, Father John Horgan spoke about Columbus Residence as a, " family's home...with all who work, live, and volunteer here knit together in the very same way any family in any house are."
The anniversary celebration was also an opportunity to recognize the service of staff and volunteers and several were presented with long term service recognition pins.
This anniversary was made extra special with a presentation of new resident bus. Board member, David Chang, on behalf of he and his sister Diana, donated the bus in memory of their parents. Father Horgan blessed the bus.

We offer special menus on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. These are always popular days for guest meal request and if you are planning to join a resident for any of these special meals we highly recommend that you make your reservations early as our seating capacity is limited.

Resident Social Leaves Over the Holidays
We would appreciate the help of family and friends by providing us with information regarding any resident social leave plans over the holiday season. Having this information in advance will help our staff plan for meals and prepare social leave medication packages.
This information may be left with any one of the nurses on duty or you may leave a message at our Front Office.
December Calendar Highlight Events:
Christmas Craft & Bake Sale Our annual Christmas sale features crafts, knitted items, baked goods and a special tea. The sale begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday December 3rd.
"Light Up for Christ" We begin our Advent journey with an evening of Scripture, prayer, hymns and the illumination of our courtyard on Tuesday December 6th at 7 p.m.
Family Night Celebrate the holiday season and join us for an evening of music and fun on Thursday December 15th at 7 p.m.
Christmas Social Join us in the Main Dining Room on Wednesday December 21st at 2 p.m. for a festive holiday party (and perhaps a visit from Santa himself!)
4th Floor Christmas Party Family and friends are welcome to join us on Thursday December 22nd at 2 p.m. for a holiday party with our special care residents.
