Our 20th Anniversary this October!
October 2010 marks the 20th anniversary of the opening of Columbus Residence.
This is a very proud milepost in our history, particularly for the many staff, board members and supporters who have been with us since our opening year.
To celebrate our two decades of service to the many residents and tenants who have called Columbus Residence their home, we will be holding a special prayer service and tea on:
Wednesday October 27th. at 2:00 p.m.
Family and friends are welcome to join us for this very special event.
Courtyard Fair Fun - July 10th.
Our Annual Courtyard Fair held on July 10th was a
big success! Over $1,500 was raised
for resident programs and special events.
On Saturday July 10th our community gathered together to enjoy the fun at our 2nd Annual Courtyard Fair.
Our courtyard was the site of a mini- festival of food, sale tables featuring baked good, used books and white elephant items and our special homemade, old fashioned lemonade. There was also a guessing game raffle and Scruffles the Clown entertained kids (big and small) with his balloon art.

Visitors had a wide variety of delicious lunch items to purchase - all prepared by our family and staff volunteers.
The event was a great success and over $1500 was raised for our resident programs and special events.
A big thank you to the many family members, staff (and their children and spouses), Board of Director members, and our regular volunteers who all pitched in and made this event so successful.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support this event!
Summer Social & BBQ - July 22nd.

food and good times at our Summer Social
Good food, good music and good times were had by all at our annual Summer Social & BBQ on July 22nd.
The weather was good to us and residents and family gathered in the outdoor courtyard for a delicious barbecue dinner prepared by our Food Services department.

The evening was topped off with the foot stomping, hand clapping music of the "Celtic Conspiracy".

Special thanks go out to our Food Services and Recreation departments for making this a special evening for our residents and their family and friends.
Change of Seasons - Change of Menus
Our Spring & Summer menu cycle is coming to an end. The Fall & Winter menu and will be implemented on Sunday September 19th. This menu will run through to approximately the end of March 2011. Click on the following link to view this menu:
